This systematic review examines the effectiveness of mind-body interventions in managing chronic pain. Mind-body interventions encompass a range of techniques including mindfulness meditation, yoga, tai chi, and cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), which aim to integrate mental and physical processes to promote health and well-being. Chronic pain is a complex condition that can significantly impact quality of life, and traditional pain management approaches often have limitations such as side effects or incomplete symptom relief. The review synthesizes findings from a comprehensive search of relevant literature, including randomized controlled trials (RCTs) and meta-analyses, to evaluate the efficacy of mind-body interventions. Key outcomes assessed include pain intensity, functional disability, psychological distress, and quality of life measures among individuals with chronic pain conditions.
