Tarot divination, rooted in centuries-old traditions and practices, continues to intrigue and captivate practitioners and scholars alike. the historical evolution of tarot cards as tools of divination, tracing their origins from Renaissance Europe to their contemporary applications in modern occult and spiritual practices. Drawing on a blend of historical analysis and ethnographic research, this paper examines the cultural, religious, and philosophical contexts that have shaped the development of tarot divination over time. It explores how tarot cards have evolved from their early use as playing cards into potent symbols of metaphysical wisdom and insight. Furthermore, this study investigates the diverse methodologies and interpretations employed in contemporary tarot practice. Through qualitative interviews and participant observation, it explores how individuals utilize tarot cards for personal guidance, spiritual enlightenment, and psychological introspection in the present day.
